Luke Thomas is a musician's musician with an ear for musicality and melody and a host of great guitar tones. Luke's command of many different styles from jazz to progressive metal, funk and reggae, pop and classical makes him a sought-after session and touring guitarist based in the music metropolis of Los Angeles. After graduating from college with a degree in jazz studies, Luke has established himself as a composer, collaborator, sideman, songwriter, and band leader. He recently started a new project co-writing with musician Wil Seabrook, and is currently in the studio recording an EP with Wil and producer/engineer Lior Goldenberg (Macy Gray, Sheryl Crow, MxPx, Alanis Morissette). As a session musician, Luke has recorded with many artists (see Discography page) in every type of studio from home setups to LA's premiere Village Recorder, and is always working with several talented artists, helping to write, record, and produce original material. Luke is also a highly sought-after music instructor with a passion for teaching beginning and professional musicians to push their own boundaries and hone their craft. |
